SSHRC KSG Grant Award & Project Expansion — March 2025 Milestone

In March 2025, the Regional Health Governance Study (RHGS) achieved several major milestones that will significantly strengthen its research capacity and advance its mission to develop equity-driven models for regional health governance.

SSHRC KSG Grant Awarded

The RHGS team was awarded a SSHRC Knowledge Synthesis Grant (KSG), recognizing the project’s contribution to advancing knowledge on pandemic governance, human rights, and regional cooperation in the Americas.
This funding will support ongoing synthesis work, research dissemination, and the development of policy-relevant outputs.

Recruitment of Project Manager & Research Assistants

To support project expansion, RHGS initiated the recruitment of:

  • A full-time Project Manager, and
  • A team of Research Assistants (RAs)

These new roles will help coordinate research activities, manage collaborations, oversee data synthesis, and support upcoming publications and stakeholder engagement.
