Sarah Fixon-Owoo is a nurse, educator, and researcher whose career bridges science, clinical practice, and health policy.
With a Master of Science in Nursing from UMass Chan Medical School and Lean Six Sigma certification, she integrates data-driven quality improvement with compassionate, evidence-based care.
Her experience spans emergency, maternal, and neurological specialties, as well as teaching and mentorship in graduate nursing education.
As a collaborator on the 2024 Regional Health Governance Study, she applies her expertise in antimicrobial resistance and policy translation to strengthen One Health governance.
Sarah’s leadership reflects a commitment to equity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the co-production of knowledge that drives meaningful health system change.
